A Warrior’s Heart…

A warrior’s heart is precious... 

It’s the heart that looks fear in the eye and says, “You will have no power over me.” 

It’s the heart that comes alongside those who are hurting and whispers, “But God.” 

It’s the heart that, when told of its victim hood, refuses to open that letter and writes,  “Return to sender!” 

A warrior’s heart is one of life’s greatest gifts that is painfully unwrapped, takes every last bit of strength from our frame, but will never betray us.  It is the heart of God manifest within our soul! 

So, today, when the way gets weary, step back, look toward Heaven, and remind yourself that this is a day filled with the promises of God written all over it!!!  And I WILL overcome!  At the end of the day, I will put my head on my pillow knowing I’m in good hands! God is a warrior...   (Exodus 15:3) I choose the warrior’s heart right alongside Him.  I will grip my sword with my heart if my hands grow weary, as Dutch Sheets says.  God’s got this!!!!  And He’s got victory on His mind!
