America, the Beautiful…. There’s something very special about “the red, white, and blue”. In cloudy skies, on sunny days, with the wind blowing the colours that just don’t run to the fullest stretch of the flag’s reach…. My heart is moved each time I see the brilliance of ‘America, the Beautiful’, stretched out against the sky. What my family members gave their lives for, I get the distinct privilege of capturing its image with my lens. I cannot do its symbolism justice, but I can’t quit trying to capture its beauty just one more time. May your heart quicken, just like mine, when you see it’s colours unfurl…
